Butler Sparks Named Recipient of M&A Advisor's 2026 Emerging Leaders Awards
Bradley is pleased to announce that Birmingham partner D. Butler Sparks has been named a recipient of The M&A Advisor’s 17th Annual Emerging Leaders Awards.
The M&A Advisor established the Emerging Leaders Awards program to recognize distinguished rising stars shaping the future of mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate finance. Mr. Sparks was chosen by an independent panel of judges in recognition of his innovation, leadership, and contributions to the community. He will be honored at the 2026 Leadership in Dealmaking Summit, which will take place on September 14-15 in New York City.
Mr. Sparks is a partner in Bradley’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group, where he routinely advises privately held companies, publicly traded companies and institutional investors in M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions, joint ventures, corporate reorganizations and general corporate matters. He also advises private fund sponsors in fund formation, capital raising and compliance matters.
Mr. Sparks graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law and earned a B.B.A. in Business Economics and Finance (summa cum laude) from Mississippi State University. He is recognized in Chambers USA and Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch.
