Charlotte

Bradley’s office in Charlotte, North Carolina, opened in 2004 and quickly built a reputation in the city for exceptional client service. Our attorneys are focused on serving the businesses and industries driving the expansion of the Charlotte market, so we are positioned to grow along with the metropolitan area. The Charlotte office has deep experience in construction, financial services, business litigation, banking and finance, bankruptcy and restructuring, and franchising law among its full suite of legal services.

Like the entire Bradley law firm, the Charlotte office makes community service a priority. Among the many organizations we sponsor or to which we contribute our time and talents are the Second Harvest Food Bank, Charlotte Ballet, Council for Children’s Rights, Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy, and Safe Alliance. Our attorneys and staff also volunteer with Habitat for Humanity to help worthy families build and move into their very own homes.

Bradley’s Charlotte office and its attorneys have been recognized for their work with numerous accolades in recent years:

  • Sixteen Charlotte attorneys are listed in The Best Lawyers in America® for 2023, including four attorneys named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America. Two attorneys are named “Lawyer of the Year” for 2023: Brian Hayles (Health Care Law) and Rob Marcus (Mass Tort Litigation / Class Actions – Defendants).
  • In Chambers USA for 2022, 11 of our Charlotte attorneys are ranked as leaders in their fields, and the office is recognized as one of the top firms in North Carolina for Antitrust, Construction and Litigation: General Commercial.

  • Bradley’s Charlotte attorneys regularly contribute to the office’s pro bono work in support of the unmet need for legal services in North Carolina. As part of those efforts, Bradley partners with Safe Alliance to assist victims of domestic violence with orders of protection and with the Wilson Center for Science and Justice at Duke Law to help prepare petitions for clemency before the Juvenile Justice Review Board.
  • The Charlotte office participates in annual charitable programs, including the “adoption” of families through the Patriot Military Family Foundation, which helps families with gifts and clothing during the holiday season.
  • Charlotte attorneys are leaders in numerous professional and civic organizations, including the Mecklenburg County Bar, International Association of Defense Counsel, Charlotte Ballet, Charlotte Regional Business Alliance, and Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy.
  • Several attorneys (and summer associates) in the Charlotte office have been known to rock the karaoke stage, belting out hits from artists such as Chuck Berry, Def Leppard and Journey. It is important to know, however, that their legal skills far surpass their singing skills.
