State of Healthcare: Healthcare Access and Disparities

Mrs. Welch will serve as the keynote speaker at the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Health Law & Policy 2023. Her presentation will include a discussion on health disparities at a federal and state level, the economic ramifications, and the social impact. She will describe current payor and provider initiatives to address adverse health and financial outcomes, advanced payment models that include social determinants of health, and the importance of data and unbiased artificial intelligence.
