Compensation Trends in Community Banking

Community banks are competing for talent in a very different environment than they were even a few years ago. Compensation is no longer just about salary. Equity incentives, performance-based pay and long-term retention strategies are becoming a bigger part of the conversation as banks look for ways to attract and retain great people.

This session explores the compensation trends shaping community banking today, including equity-based compensation, incentive programs and "golden handcuff" arrangements. Attendees will also examine the growing use of restrictive covenants in compensation agreements, including what's common, what's enforceable and the practical role these provisions can play in today's competitive hiring environment.
