Aron Beezley Quoted in Bloomberg Law on 2021 GAO Report

Bradley partner Aron Beezley was quoted in Bloomberg Law discussing the recently released 2021 Government Accountability Office report. The annual report shows an effectiveness rate of 48%, down from 51% a year ago. The effectiveness rate reflects how often protesters convinced the GAO to sustain a protest or an agency to fix a procurement error with corrective action.

The report also shows a decrease in the number of cases that used alternative dispute resolution – 76 cases in 2021 compared to 124 cases in 2020. ADR was used in 40 cases in 2019.

Beezley said the decrease “suggests that last year’s unusually high rate was a pandemic-related aberration.”
