Bradley's Ann Peldo Cargile Elected President of American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Bradley is pleased to announce that Ann Peldo Cargile has been elected president of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) effective January 1, 2023. ACREL is the premier organization for real estate lawyers in the U.S.

As president, Ms. Cargile will lead more than 1,000 prominent real estate lawyers across the country. She is an active member and Fellow of ACREL and previously served as president elect and vice president and has chaired various committees. Founded in 1978, ACREL is focused on service to clients, colleagues and the profession. Admission is by invitation only after a rigorous screening process. ACREL’s nationally known lawyers are elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.

Ms. Cargile is a partner in the firm’s Nashville office and a member of Bradley’s Real Estate Practice Group. She represents parties in all aspects of commercial real estate, including leasing, finance and joint ventures. Through her national leasing practice, she serves as counsel to landlords and tenants in both lease negotiation and lease enforcement. In addition, Ms. Cargile represents lenders in placing financing and has experience assisting borrowers in negotiating favorable loan terms, providing strategic counsel when projects become distressed. She is a frequent author and speaker on real estate topics and is known for her impact on Tennessee condominium law.

Ms. Cargile has been recognized for her expertise in real estate law and contributions to the legal field, named among the Nashville Business Journal’s “Women of Influence” in 2020, recognized among the “Best of the Bar” by the Nashville Business Journal, and consistently listed in Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America® in the area of real estate since 2003.
