Bradley Attorney Benjamin Perry Earns Certified Information Privacy Professional Credential
Bradley is pleased to announce that Benjamin Perry, an attorney in the firm’s Nashville office, has earned the Certified Information Privacy Professional – Europe (CIPP/E) credential through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).
Mr. Perry is an associate in Bradley’s Banking and Financial Services Practice Group, where he represents clients across various industries on both regulatory compliance and litigation matters. He has a deep understanding of the complex legal landscape surrounding data privacy and data protection, and regularly advises clients on compliance with state, federal, and international data privacy and security laws, such as CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, HIPAA, CAN-SPAM, FCRA, TCPA, data breach notification laws, employee monitoring policies, and other U.S. and international privacy and data security requirements.
Mr. Perry received his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University, his M.S. in Finance from the University of Alabama, and his B.S. in Business Administration from Birmingham-Southern College.
Accredited by the ANSI/ISO, the CIPP/E credential encompasses pan-European and national data protection laws, key privacy terminology, and practical concepts concerning the protection of personal data and trans-border data flows. CIPP/E designated professionals demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of information privacy within the European context, including critical topics such as the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield and GDPR, as well as mandatory DPOs.
