Mr. Spangler joins from Alston & Bird as a partner in Bradley’s Construction Practice Group. He has more than 35 years of experience handling construction matters, including the negotiating and drafting of construction agreements, EPC, design-build, program management, and engineering agreements, and he regularly represents owners, contractors and design professionals in disputes, including jury trials, arbitrations, and mediations. Mr. Spangler has defended and prosecuted all types of construction-related claims, including bid and procurement protests and government contracting disputes. On the transactional side, he handles teaming agreements, joint venture agreements, design-build, general contractor and construction management contracts, architectural and engineering agreements, and program management and project management agreements. Mr. Spangler has been ranked in Chambers USA as a leading construction attorney in Georgia since 2003 and has been recognized in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2004. He is a founding member of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Construction Law Section and is an active member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on the Construction Industry.
Ms. Cazan also joins from Alston & Bird as a partner in the firm’s Construction Practice Group. She has more than 20 years of experience representing clients in complex, high-profile litigation, arbitration and mediation of construction, development, and real-estate related disputes, including claims for delay, acceleration, interference, defective construction, defective design, scope changes and other issues. She also drafts and negotiates construction agreements, EPC, design-build, project management and engineering agreements. Ms. Cazan has been recognized for her construction practice in Chambers USA since 2016 and in The Best Lawyers in America® since 2018. She serves on the board of directors for the Construction Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association and is a Fellow of the Construction Lawyers Society of America.
