Robert Maddox Quoted in the BBJ on SCOTUS Cases Regarding Race in Admissions Process

Bradley partner Robert Maddox was quoted in the Birmingham Business Journal on recent U.S. Supreme Court cases regarding the role of race in higher education admissions, including employment.

Maddox pointed out that opinions resulting from SFFA vs. Harvard and SFFA vs. UNC hinted at wider impact than just in college admissions.

“Both the dissenting opinion and the concurring opinions throughout talk about ‘this could have greater impact, specifically in the employment area,’” he said.
