Bradley Partner Amy Leopard Earns AI Governance Professional Certification

Amy S. Leopard, co-chair of Bradley's Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group, has earned the Artificial Intelligence Governance Professional (AIGP) certification through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

The IAPP launched the AIGP certification to meet the rapid, cross-industry need for professionals to understand and execute responsible AI governance as AI technology has continued to expand globally. The AIGP credential demonstrates that an individual can ensure safety and trust in the development and deployment of ethical AI and ongoing management of AI systems.

Ms. Leopard is a veteran health IT attorney who works with clients at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and innovation. For over 25 years, she has guided healthcare providers, payors, and innovators through complex regulations, designing technology and data-sharing solutions that safeguard patients, data, technology assets, and intellectual property while mitigating privacy and security risks. She offers strategic guidance on enterprise governance and risk management, contracting and procurement, regulatory and product counsel, data rights, interoperability, and government enforcement. 

Ms. Leopard is a former member of the American Health Lawyers Association’s board of directors and chaired its Health IT Practice Group and is actively engaged in industry and thought leadership at the forefront of healthcare technology. She completed certificate programs in Health Care AI at the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2023 and at Harvard Medical School in 2022 and also holds certification as a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP-US) by the IAPP. She earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University and her M.S. in health services administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She received her B.S. from Auburn University.
