Bradley Partner Michael Bentley Inducted as a Fellow of Mississippi Bar Foundation
Bradley is pleased to announce that Michael J. Bentley, a partner in the firm’s Jackson office, has been inducted as a Fellow of the Mississippi Bar Foundation, which recognizes a lawyer’s excellence, as well as dedication and service to the public and profession.
Mr. Bentley concentrates his practice on appeals and litigation, with an emphasis on constitutional law, zoning and land-use litigation, and complex commercial disputes. His litigation experience ranges from class actions and commercial disputes to tax protests, premises liability cases, zoning contests, Section 1983 civil rights suits and constitutional claims. Mr. Bentley also has extensive experience in healthcare litigation, including defense of private correctional healthcare providers operating in state prison systems and representing payors in contract and claim disputes.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Bentley clerked for Judge Leslie H. Southwick of the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Bentley graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi College School of Law.
Selection as a Mississippi Bar Fellow recognizes that an attorney has achieved the highest level of professionalism, competence and leadership, according to the attorney’s peers. Only 10% of the lawyers in Mississippi are eligible for membership as a Fellow.
