Bradley's Taylor C. Davis Receives Inaugural Leading Edge Alumni Award from University of Mississippi School of Law
Bradley associate Taylor C. Davis has been selected as a recipient of the University of Mississippi School of Law’s inaugural Leading Edge Alumni Award, which recognizes high-achieving alumni who have graduated within the last five years. Ms. Davis is one of five honorees who were recognized on March 28, at the law school’s annual Alumni Hall of Fame Dinner and Induction Ceremony, held in conjunction with Law Alumni Weekend.
A member of Bradley’s Bankruptcy & Creditors’ Rights and Litigation practice groups, Ms. Davis provides legal counsel in complex and high-stakes matters. She has experience drafting dispositive motions, leading negotiations, and appearing in court, where she consistently demonstrates professionalism, preparedness, and effective advocacy. She is also a contributing editor to the Norton Bankruptcy Law Adviser, published by Thomson Reuters and edited by Bradley partner Bill Norton, which keeps practitioners informed of significant bankruptcy decisions, legal developments and trends.
Ms. Davis is active in mentorship and pro bono efforts, serving as a member of Bradley’s Inclusion & Diversity Resource Group, where she supports recruiting initiatives aimed at demystifying the path to becoming an attorney. She also has been involved in pro bono matters, conducting research that helped restore a former government employee’s pension and retirement benefits.
Ms. Davis earned her J.D. from the University of Mississippi School of Law in 2025, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Mississippi Law Journal and as a member of the Moot Court Board. She was also an active member of the Constance Slaughter-Harvey Chapter of the Black Law Students Association and was named the recipient of the organization’s Trailblazer Award in 2024. She received her B.A., magna cum laude, and M.A. from the University of South Alabama.
