Hunter Robinson and Erik Halvorson Receive TBA's Justice Joseph W. Henry Award for Outstanding Legal Writing
Bradley is pleased to announce that partner J. Hunter Robinson and associate Erik Halvorson, attorneys in the firm’s Banking & Financial Services Practice Group, will receive the Tennessee Bar Association’s Justice Joseph W. Henry Award for Outstanding Legal Writing, the TBA’s highest legal writing honor.
Established in 1981, the Joe Henry Award is given each year to the lawyer who writes the most outstanding article that is published in the Tennessee Bar Journal for the preceding year. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Halvorson were selected for their article, “One Domino Falls: Tennessee Supreme Court Reshapes Foreclosure Claims,” which was published in the March/April 2025 issue of the Tennessee Bar Journal.
The award will be presented at the Lawyers Luncheon on June 12, 2026, during the TBA’s Annual Convention in Knoxville, Tennessee.
Mr. Robinson represents clients in litigation and compliance matters across the country. His litigation practice focuses on resolving business disputes and representing individuals and entities in disputes involving claims for breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, breach of restrictive covenants, misappropriation of trade secrets, business fraud, and business torts. A significant portion of his litigation practice is dedicated to intra-company disputes, including business divorces and related litigation. Mr. Robinson’s litigation experience spans numerous industries, including private equity, commercial real estate, healthcare, manufacturing, and cannabis.
Mr. Halvorson represents individuals and business entities at both the trial and appellate court levels with a focus on resolving commercial disputes and financial services related litigation. He currently serves as a Middle Tennessee delegate to the Tennessee Bar Association’s Appellate Practice Executive Council.
