Jennifer Trulock Quoted in The Texas Lawbook on 9/11's Lasting Impact

Bradley attorney Jennifer Trulock was quoted in The Texas Lawbook remembering 9/11 not only as a personal trauma because of her connection to New York, but also as a moment that temporarily united people through kindness and permanently altered ordinary behaviors and perceptions.

Trulock’s reflections centered on how 9/11 personally affected her and how it changed everyday life in lasting ways.

“It's hard to believe it's been 25 years. I had been living in New York City at the time of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, so 9-11 felt really personal when it happened. And it felt like the whole world just stopped, work, school, sports, and everything else,” Trulock said.

One of the strongest memories she emphasizes is how people responded to one another.

“We all showed so much kindness to each other. Once the world started up again, we changed the way we look at strangers and how we travel, and those changes are still with us today.”
