Sofia Alvarez is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group.
Sofia earned her J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School, where she was on the staff of the Vanderbilt Journal of Transnational Law, a member of the Vanderbilt University Appellate Review Board, and a Chancellor’s Law Scholar. During her time at Vanderbilt Law, she served on the executive boards of La Alianza, Law Students for Social Justice, Immigration Law Society, and the Legal Aid Society.
Sofia also has a B.A. in Political Science from Mississippi State University and studied abroad at the University of Oxford. While at MSU, Sofia worked closely with the College of Arts and Sciences and the Holmes Center for Student Success. Further, she was awarded the Spirit of State Award.
