Kristen Dupard is an associate in the firm’s Government Enforcement & Investigations Practice Group. She advises companies, board and audit committees, regulated entities, and individuals on internal investigations, congressional investigations, government enforcement proceedings, and related complex litigation. Kristen has substantial experience representing clients in investigations and enforcement proceedings brought by Congress, the SEC, and the DOJ. She also advises clients on responding to regulatory inquiries from Congress and has experience handling a wide range of regulatory and criminal enforcement matters.
Before entering private practice, Kristen clerked and served as a legal fellow with District of Columbia Public Defender Services, where she represented individuals seeking to seal, set aside, or expunge criminal records.
Kirsten earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law, where she served as notes and comments editor of the Columbia Journal of Race and Law. During law school, she worked with the Brennan Center for Justice, the Senate Judiciary Committee, the NAACP, the DNC, and NPR. She received her B.S. (magna cum laude) from the University of Southern Mississippi.
