Jessie Nelson Smith is an associate in the firm’s Healthcare Practice Group. Jessie assists clients in the healthcare industry with transactional, operational, regulatory and compliance matters. Her practice focuses on assisting clients with Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance, healthcare facility licensing, mergers and acquisitions, and legal IRO services, as well as helping clients through issues that arise from the complex nature of operating in a highly regulated industry.
Jessie received her J.D. (magna cum laude) from Baylor University School of Law, where she was a member of the editorial board for the Baylor Law Review. She also has a B.S. (cum laude) in Health Sciences Studies with a minor in Chemistry from Baylor University.
