Evan Newsome is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group. He joined Bradley after serving as a law clerk for the Hon. Corey L. Maze of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Alabama.
Prior to clerking, Evan received his J.D. (magna cum laude) from the University of Alabama School of Law, where he was a Hugo L. Black Scholar, a member of the Carol Andrews ABA National Moot Court Team and Civil Rights & Liberties Moot Court Team, and a student attorney for the Alabama Appellate Advocacy Clinic. Evan received his B.S. (cum laude) in Political Science from the University of Louisville.
Evan is also an active leader in his community. Since 2023, he has served on the Board of Directors for the Steven Vanover Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to raising funds for rare sarcoma research, where he monitors regulatory compliance and drafts contracts and grant applications on the organization's behalf. During law school, Evan was awarded the Dean’s Community Service Award, Pro Bono Award, and the Order of the Samaritan in recognition of his community service work.
