Preston White is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. Preston assists in the drafting and editing process of lease agreements, purchase and sale agreements, financing documents and ancillary closing documents, and letters of intent. He also assists in the due diligence process for a broad range of commercial real estate transactions.

Preston graduated fourth in his class and received his J.D. (summa cum laude) from the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he was executive editor for the Tennessee Law Review and Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law. He also served as a Legal Process Fellow where he helped first-year students hone their legal writing skills, gave legal citation presentations, and drafted citation materials and guides for the Legal Process professors.

Prior to law school, Preston received a B.B.A. (summa cum laude) in Accounting and a B.B.A. (summa cum laude) in Corporate Finance & Investment from East Tennessee State University. The summer before he attended the University of Tennessee College of Law, Preston served as a campaign manager for a U.S. Congressional candidate.
