      Obtained a favorable decision at the United States Supreme Court following a substantial jury verdict in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas in a patent infringement case involving wireless technology.

      Centocor Ortho Biotech, Inc. v. Abbott Laboratories
      Won a $1.6 billion jury verdict for infringement of pharmaceutical patents.

      TQ Delta, LLC v. ADTRAN, Inc.
      Lead counsel defending global telecommunications manufacturer in District of Delaware against portfolio of 37 patents in 10 patent families involving xDSL technology, including alleged standards essential patents, in what may be the largest patent case ever brought in terms of number of patents. Case is ongoing.

      Globeride, Inc. v. Pure Fishing, Inc.
      Represented Pure Fishing, Inc. in patent infringement litigation. Bradley was lead counsel for Pure Fishing in pending litigation involving oscillate mechanisms in spinning fishing reels filed by Globeride, Inc. in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. We also managed parallel proceedings in Japan. The case was successfully settled in favor of the defendants.

      Lifetime Products v. Russell Brands
      Defended Russell Brands, a worldwide leader in the sporting goods industry, in complex patent infringement litigation pending in U.S. District Court for the District of Utah. The case was filed by competitor Lifetime Products over a family of patents directed to basketball backboard systems, including extensive related administrative reexamination proceedings before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Matters litigated included questions of patent validity, infringement, and unenforceability due to inequitable conduct during prosecution and reexamination of the plaintiff’s patents. The case was successfully settled, dismissing all claims against our client.

      Cushion Technologies LLC v. Am Sporting Goods Corp., et al.
      Represented Russell Corporation and Brooks Sports in a series of complex patent infringement claims related to the construction of shoes in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The patent claims were successfully settled for our clients.

      STB Ltd. v. Johnson and Johnson
      Successfully defended manufacturer of medical device accused of patent infringement in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

      Radio Systems Corporation v. Sunbeam Products, Inc. d/b/a Jarden Consumer Solutions
      Defended Sunbeam Products, Inc. as lead counsel in patent litigation involving sensors and electronics in dog bark collars filed by Radio Systems Corp. in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. The matter settled favorably for our client during litigation.

      MobileMedia Ideas LLC v. Research in Motion
      Represented manufacturer and owner of patents related to phone applications. The matter was resolved on terms favorable to our client.

      VirnetX, Inc. v. Microsoft Corporation
      Defended accused infringer in a jury trial involving virtual private network patents in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

      Chase Medical Inc. v. CHF Technologies
      Defended manufacturer accused of infringing surgical heart repair device patents in a jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

      Saffran v. Johnson and Johnson
      Defended manufacturer of angioplasty medical device in a jury trial in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.

      e-Lynxx Corporation
      Successful multidefendant settlements on behalf of Pennsylvania inventor of e-commerce patents.

      Encoditech LLC v. Brookfield Equinox LLC
      Represented defendant in patent infringement litigation involving cryptographic techniques in wireless communications in automated teller machines filed in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. The matter settled favorably for our client during litigation.

      Innovative Wireless Solutions, LLC v. ADTRAN, Inc.
      Lead counsel in defense of global telecommunications manufacturer in patent infringement case in District of Delaware involving networking communication protocols (CSMA/CD). Obtained summary judgment of non-infringement for client.

      Scientific Telecommunications, Inc. v. ADTRAN. IncLead counsel in defense of global telecommunications manufacturer in patent infringement case in District of Delaware involving networking products (layer 2 and 3 routing technology). Obtained dismissal and zero-dollar settlement by plaintiff.
