The Construction and Procurement Practice Group in our Washington D.C. office is seeking to add an associate with two to four years private practice experience in federal government contracting. Significant and substantive bid protest and contract claim experience is preferred. Preference will be given to applicants with federal construction contract experience or training through George Washington University’s government contracts program. The firm will consider attorneys with a federal government employment background provided it includes hands-on litigation experience. Candidates should be willing to assist on private construction and complex litigation practice areas as needed. Candidates must have excellent analytical, written, verbal and interpersonal skills and superior academic credentials from an accredited, top tier law school. 

CORPORATE & SECURITIES ASSOCIATE – Birmingham, AL and Nashville, TN
The Corporate & Securities Practice Group is seeking to add a mid-level or senior associate with 3 plus years of sophisticated corporate experience, preferably with significant mergers and acquisitions experience. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT & STATE AND LOCAL TAX ASSOCIATE – Birmingham, AL
The firm is seeking to add an attorney with 2-4 years of economic development and state tax related experience. The firm is seeking an associate who will negotiate state and local tax incentive packages with various state and local governments. State tax-related expertise, including an LLM from a top tier program, is preferred. Candidates should have experience with commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, development work and leasing work and/or experience representing banks and other lenders in real estate secured and asset based lending transactions. STAFF ATTORNEY – Birmingham, AL or Huntsville, AL
The Financial Services Practice Group is seeking to add a staff attorney with a minimum of 2-3 years of title experience, including familiarity with title abstracts, title commitments, title curative and title insurance work.
