Bradley Adds Team of IP Practitioners to Texas Offices

Bradley is pleased to announce that partners Henry L. “Bud” Ehrlich and Ross T. Robinson, along with patent agent Shoaib A. Mithani, have joined the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group. The team was previously with a full-service law firm based in Dallas.

Mr. Ehrlich is a member of Bradley’s Houston office and practices in the areas of patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. He has a particular focus on worldwide patent protection, intellectual property portfolio development and management, patent infringement and validity opinions, technology commercialization, licensing, and IP enforcement. Mr. Ehrlich regularly works with individual inventors, startups, private companies, and international corporations. He has experience serving clients in a variety of industries, including aerospace, energy, drilling and production equipment, perimeter security, highway systems, medical devices, manufacturing, and consumer products. Mr. Ehrlich earned his J.D. from the Louisiana State University Paul M. Hebert School of Law and his B.S. in petroleum engineering from Texas Tech University.

Mr. Robinson joined the Dallas office, and his practice emphasizes U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution, preparation of opinions regarding patent infringement and validity, client counseling, technology commercialization, and IP enforcement. He works often in the areas of robotics, VTOL and other aircraft systems, HVAC equipment, offshore oil-field equipment, electronics, telecommunications, computer systems and networks, and internet applications. He received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.S. in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University.

Also in the firm’s Dallas office, Mr. Mithani is a patent agent focused on U.S. and foreign patent preparation and prosecution and has extensive experience with a variety of technologies. He provides valuable support drafting and prosecuting patents across numerous business sectors and frequently involving complex technical elements, including electrical and electromechanical devices, semiconductors, and computer-based software systems. Mr. Mithani received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
