David Pratt Interviewed by Telemundo 39 About Tricolor Auto Dealership Bankruptcy Case
Telemundo 39
Bradley attorney David Pratt was interviewed by Telemundo 39, providing commentary on the bankruptcy proceedings and highlighting the broader financial implications in Tricolor Auto’s ongoing case in a Dallas court.
Pratt, who is not involved in the case, explained that it is standard procedure for a court-appointed trustee to meet with creditors to discuss the liquidation of assets – that is, the sale of property to pay off the company’s debts.
“The bankruptcy petition filed by Tricolor mentions more than 25,000 creditors to whom the company allegedly owes more than a billion dollars, including large U.S. banks,” Pratt said.
Looking ahead, Pratt warned that although the bankruptcy process could take more than a year to complete, the short-term impact may directly affect consumers. He anticipates stricter loan approvals, with more requirements and higher down payments needed to qualify.
