Bradley Launches Medical Office Buildings Team
Bradley continues to expand its offerings with the launch of the Medical Office Buildings (MOB) team, designed to meet the specific needs of clients in the dynamic and growing medical office real estate market. The team is led by Nashville real estate partners Robert E. Leonard and Elizabeth C. Sauer, along with Dallas real estate counsel Lawrence J. McFarland.
“Our robust team of healthcare real estate attorneys regularly assists clients with medical real estate assets that not only serve as premier investment opportunities, but also as vital continuum-of-care delivery hubs,” said Mr. Leonard. “We are pleased to formalize this offering and will continue to work alongside our clients to navigate the nuances unique to medical real estate assets, helping ensure their projects and transactions are executed efficiently and effectively.”
Bradley’s MOB team is composed of real estate and healthcare attorneys who understand the unique complexities of the healthcare real estate sector and take a strategic approach to help clients navigate regulatory requirements, zoning laws, and healthcare-specific compliance considerations. The team has experience with both on-campus and off-campus facilities and represents for-profit health systems, private funds, and real estate investment funds in connection with their medical office portfolios, as well as tenants, including physician practices, surgery centers, and urgent care providers.
The team provides end-to-end legal counsel throughout the lifecycle of MOB projects, including development and construction, acquisitions, dispositions and leasing. The team also advises on the formation of fund vehicles dedicated to MOB investments, structures strategic joint ventures, and assists in negotiating and securing financing, working closely with borrowers and lenders to align financial solutions.
