Bradley Continues Growth in Dallas with Addition of Kelly Rentzel to Banking & Financial Services Practice Group
Bradley continues to expand its presence in Dallas with the addition of C. Kelly Rentzel as counsel in the Banking & Financial Services Practice Group.
“Kelly brings a unique combination of in-house leadership experience and in-depth, firsthand knowledge of the financial institutions industry that aligns with our strategic growth priorities in Dallas and across the firm,” said Bradley Dallas Office Managing Partner Robert L. Sayles. “As we continue to grow our capabilities and see increased activity in bank M&A and corporate governance matters, the demand for sophisticated legal and strategic counsel has increased as well. Kelly’s background and general counsel experience position her to provide immediate value to complex acquisitions, and we know she will be an excellent addition to the team.”
Prior to joining Bradley, Ms. Rentzel served as general counsel and corporate secretary for a national publicly traded homebuilder, where she managed the company’s internal legal department and external counsel, provided legal support for capital markets activities, and played a key role in the company’s sale. She also previously served as general counsel to both a publicly traded regional bank with roots in California and to a publicly traded regional bank based in Texas, gaining valuable operational and transactional experience during periods of significant growth.
Ms. Rentzel earned her J.D., cum laude, from Southern Methodist Dedman School of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from Rice University. She previously served as president of the Southwest Association of Bank Counsel and as a member of the board of the Dallas Bar Association.
Bradley’s continued growth in Dallas and across Texas reflects the firm’s long-term investment in key markets and practices.
