Michele Madison Elected to Board of Directors for Georgia Chapter of HIMSS

Bradley partner Michele Madison has been named to the Board of Directors of the Georgia Chapter of the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (GAHIMSS).

GAHIMSS provides statewide leadership for the advancement and management of healthcare information and technology. The mission of GAHIMSS is to actively engage members, sponsors, partners and legislators in improving health and healthcare in Georgia through healthcare information and management systems.

Ms. Madison provides general legal advice to health systems, hospitals and providers on various regulatory and business matters. She has significant experience in managing legal issues arising in hospitals, physician offices or integrated health systems, including compliance guidance, employment, investigations, risk management assessment, and corporation management. Ms. Madison works with information technology companies and advises clients on compliance with regulations and industry standards, as well as on security safeguards and compliance with notice and risk mitigation strategies to address security incidents and breaches.
