Will Burch is an attorney in the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group who focuses his practice on patent litigation and prosecution projects. He advises clients on patent enforcement strategy and assists litigation teams with patent litigation and other intellectual property disputes, including copyright and trademark issues.
His experience includes drafting and filing pleadings, validity/invalidity and infringement/non-infringement reports, and motions for cases in various district courts and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Will also has managed discovery efforts, including drafting and responding to written discovery, deposition strategy, and has overseen document production and review, as well as managed non-patent state court litigation.
Will is an engineer by trade and studied mechanical engineering at the University of Alabama. His background includes working as a field service engineer installing, calibrating and repairing testing machines and as a process engineer for a flooring manufacturer.
