Served as integral member of the legal team representing the Kansas Department of Commerce in the high-profile relocation of the Kansas City Chiefs’ stadium and headquarters to Kansas. The new $3 billion stadium in Wyandotte County will have at least 65,000 seats and a dome meant to support concerts and events year-round. The project, which is valued at over $4 billion, also includes an ancillary mixed-use development and a $300 million practice facility and team headquarters in Olathe. This landmark project involved complex negotiations and fostering cooperative relationships across various state and municipal stakeholders. The deal was honored as the 2026 Capstone Awards - Deal of the Year.
