James Daniel is an associate in the firm’s Construction and Government Contracts practice groups.

Now serving an in the U.S. Army Reserve, his active military career has included service as an advisor to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as an assistant professor of Chinese at West Point, serving with the United Nations Command in the Korean Demilitarized Zone at Panmunjom, Korea, and deployment to Iraq in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn with the First Battalion, Eighth Infantry Regiment.

James earned a J.D. from Stanford Law School, where he was editor of the Environmental Law Journal and president of the Stanford Energy & Infrastructure Club. A graduate of the United States Military Academy, he also has a Master of Science in Environment & Resources from Stanford, a Diplôme d' Université in International Nuclear Law from the International School of Nuclear Law at the University of Montpellier, France, and a Master of Arts in Global Affairs from Yale University.
