Prior to law school, Scott served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jalal-Abad, Kyrgyzstan, and later worked on USAID projects in Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan aimed at carrying out land reform and stimulating land market development in Central Asia.

The transaction involved staggered closings, assets at varying stages of development, and complex coordination of leasing, title, and construction matters across the portfolio. Represented seller in two separate dispositions to large net lease REITs of single-tenant, net-leased retail portfolios operated by a national discount retailer: a 28-property portfolio across eight states and a 12-property portfolio across six states.
