Leigh Anne Hodge represents clients in the healthcare industry in regional and national engagements. As practice group leader for Bradley’s Litigation team, she regularly represents clients in the healthcare industry in product liability litigation, medical malpractice litigation, staff privileges matters, ERISA litigation, managed care litigation, and insurance fraud cases. She has tried cases in federal and state courts and has experience in arbitration venues.

Most recently, Leigh Anne served as national defense counsel for an international manufacturer of hemodialysis products in a mass tort litigation. In this role, she led the team responsible for case management and coordination of 13,000+ cases nationwide, which included cases pending in a federal MDL proceeding and coordinated state court proceedings in Massachusetts, California, and Alabama. The team led by Leigh Anne was responsible for tracking the filing of complaints nationally; removing cases to federal court and ensuring transfer of those cases into the MDL; preparing answers, pleadings, motions, and briefs; arguing motions; and coordinating discovery, including intake of plaintiff fact sheets and production of defendant fact sheets. Additionally, Leigh Anne contributed to defense strategy and participated in bellwether case workups, including taking and defending depositions of plaintiffs, fact witnesses, and treating physicians.

Leigh Anne served as a law clerk to the Hon. Edward S. Smith, Senior Circuit Judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Before attending law school, Leigh Anne was a registered nurse for eight years and has experience in both hospital and private clinic settings.
