Led briefing efforts on appellee brief to Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals related to matter-of-first-impression jurisdictional issues, resulting in a full affirmation in favor of client. Defended officer/director of large healthcare company against claims of fiduciary breach and fraud, resulting in full summary judgment in favor of client. Represented former co-owner and employee of accounting firm against trade-secret misappropriation claims brought by former employer, leveraging counterclaims to Served as counsel for U.S. Chamber of Commerce and other business-interest groups in high-profile challenge to Federal Trade Commission’s proposed nationwide ban on non-compete agreements.  Represented claimants in FINRA arbitration proceeding arising out of securities fraud and breach of fiduciary duty, resulting in favorable settlement.
