Jody Kepler is a healthcare attorney with more than 20 years of experience in regulatory law, compliance, and governmental affairs. She helps clients drive organizational change, mitigate risk, and influence public policy in an increasingly complex Medicaid and Medicare environment.
Jody often serves as a trusted advisor to boards and executive leadership by consulting on compliance, safety, quality, and risk management, as well as annual board compliance training. She advises executive management on legislation, laws, and guidance applicable to various healthcare business lines., including personal care services, Medicaid transportation brokerage, and remote patient monitoring. She also has extensive experience in Medicare and Medicaid contracting, clean claims, conditions of payment, HIPAA and privacy, fraud prevention and reporting, internal and external investigations, and audits.
Prior to joining the firm, Jody served as deputy general counsel and SVP of Government Affairs for a healthcare services company in Denver and as senior regulatory and operations counsel for Tenet Healthcare in Dallas and Nashville.
