Craig Mayfield is recognized by Chambers USA as one of only six nationally ranked mass tort and product liability litigators in the state of Florida, and he is the only Florida litigator awarded that honor outside of Miami. With a practice built largely on defense of businesses and manufacturers in products liability and high-exposure personal injury claims, Craig advises, represents and serves as national trial, risk management, and litigation coordination counsel for a diverse range of clients, including global medical device companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, commercial product manufacturers, a major tobacco company, international hotel brands, asbestos manufacturers, professional sports figures in need of legal assistance, and numerous other Fortune 500 businesses headquartered in the United States and overseas.

Craig regularly defends his clients in individual matters and class actions at the state and federal levels across the country, and often in interplay with international venues. With a joint J.D./M.B.A., Craig’s ability to combine understanding and concern for clients’ business interests with a broad range of defense litigation strategies has made him an invaluable asset to his clients in the litigation arena, as well as in broader commercial boardrooms.

From 2017-2024, Craig served as managing partner of Bradley’s Tampa office, and he has served on the firm’s board since 2017. He is active in both professional and bar-related activities through the Defense Research Institute (DRI), holding numerous leadership positions. In addition to being a former national chair for DRI’s Young Lawyers, Craig has served on DRI’s Law Institute, Product Liability Steering Committee, and as the first-ever U.S. chair to DRI International.
