Matt Parker represents clients in a wide range of complex IP and technology transactions, including technology licensing, strategic collaborations, M&A, joint ventures, supply and distribution arrangements, and other strategic commercial agreements. He advises both established and emerging companies in a variety of technology-intensive sectors, including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, agtech, software, SaaS, healthcare, consumer electronics, gaming, social media, e-commerce and other online business models.

Matt complements his transactional IP practice by assisting clients with day-to-day commercial and corporate matters as well as the preparation and prosecution of patent applications, particularly in the life sciences sector. He also provides guidance on integrating counsel from litigators and regulatory advisors to align with a company’s corporate strategy and practices.

Matt has a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in immunology. He completed research in the fields of immunology, translational medicine, molecular biology and analytical chemistry, which provides him with a deep understanding of the complex and technical matters involved in helping clients protect their intellectual property rights.
