Henry Walker focuses his practice on state utility regulation with an emphasis in the fields of electricity, telecommunications, wastewater services and natural gas. He represents utility clients and customers primarily before the Tennessee Public Utility Commission but has litigated before state public service commissions throughout the Southeast. He has negotiated contracts between large electric customers and incumbent electric companies in several states and has mediated rate disputes between utilities and their customers.

Prior to joining Bradley, Henry was the general counsel for the Tennessee Public Utility Commission for 13 years. He also worked for the United States Department of Justice and as an assistant district attorney general in Nashville. He clerked for Judge Gilbert S. Merritt of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.

Henry is vice president of his neighborhood association, served two terms as senior warden at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, is on the board of Tennessee History for Kids, and will start serving in January on the board of Tennessee Craft. He previously served on the boards of the Tennessee State Museum Foundation and East Nashville Hope Exchange. For many years he wrote a weekly column on media criticism for the local alternative newspaper and was a regular guest on a local political talk show. His hobbies are Tennessee history, art and dogs.
