Bradley expands its Public Companies team with the addition of partner Erin Reeves McGinnis to the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group as the firm’s Atlanta office growth continues.

Ms. Reeves McGinnis, who previously served as co-chair of the securities practice at an AmLaw 100 law firm, is a seasoned public company securities attorney with an extensive background in public and private securities offerings and general corporate law.

“Erin’s impressive career both in private practice and in-house has given her a deep understanding of the regulatory landscape in which businesses are operating,” said Danny Feltham, partner and chair of Bradley’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group. “We are confident that her perspective and experience will deepen our transactional practice in Atlanta while expanding our capabilities in advising public company clients on compliance issues and effective practices throughout their lifespan, as well as providing critical support for companies seeking to go public.”

Prior to joining Bradley, Ms. Reeves McGinnis served as general counsel and corporate secretary for a publicly traded company, where she oversaw all legal affairs and securities law compliance and supported several strategic, multimillion-dollar transactions. She brings extensive experience advising public companies on the full range of securities compliance and general corporate matters, including public and private securities offerings, 1933 Act filings, 1934 Act reporting, SEC and FINRA compliance, corporate governance, and other transactional matters. Ms. Reeves McGinnis regularly counsels boards of directors, committees, and C-suite executives on disclosure obligations, reporting requirements, and best practices in governance and compliance.

A frequent author and speaker on securities law topics, Ms. Reeves McGinnis co-founded a securities law blog at her prior firm. She earned both her J.D. and B.A., cum laude, from the University of Georgia.

“We are proud of the continued success our Atlanta office has had in attracting top legal talent like Erin, underscoring our commitment to expanding our services in ways that align with our clients’ evolving needs,” said Bradley Atlanta Office Managing Partner Deborah Cazan. “Bradley’s growth in Atlanta over the last two years has played a meaningful role in the firm’s strong performance over the last year, and we will continue to provide top-tier legal services that are value and results driven.”

Now the third largest office in the firm’s footprint, Bradley’s Atlanta has tripled in size since its launch in May 2023. The firm has strategically added prominent attorneys to meet client demand across key areas, including corporate and securities, real estate, litigation, healthcare, construction, labor and employment, financial services, franchise, and intellectual property.

The attorneys on Bradley’s Public Companies team counsel public companies, as well as companies focused on becoming public, on matters affecting operation in the public markets. Representing companies that are traded on all of the major U.S. securities exchanges and span a wide variety of industries, the team provides legal advice on compliance with evolving securities laws and corporate governance practices and regularly assists clients in debt and equity capital markets transactions.

Bradley’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group works with corporate clients by understanding and assessing the market and the business enterprise, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing in-depth, actionable strategies throughout the life of a company. The team is known for creating value based on their legal experience and the client-centered service they provide to companies of all sizes, stages, and business models.
