Kevin Campbell's practice focuses exclusively on the representation of healthcare providers in transactional, regulatory and operational matters.

Kevin’s clients include providers and companies in a number of sectors of the healthcare industry, but with a particular emphasis on representation of acute care hospitals, including both for profit hospital chains and nonprofit hospitals systems. Kevin also has extensive experience representing accountable care organizations and other clinically integrated networks.

Kevin's transactional experience includes:

  • Representing healthcare clients in the formation of joint venture entities and new healthcare businesses, including a $100 million outpatient imaging joint venture
  • Representing buyers and sellers in acquisitions of physician practices and ancillary businesses

In the regulatory and operational area, Kevin advises healthcare clients on a wide variety of issues, including:

  • Physician employment, physician recruiting, hospital-based physician contracts and other professional services arrangements
  • Governance and compensation issues with hospital-owned physician practices
  • Call coverage and hospitalist arrangements
  • Formation of accountable care organizations and other provider networks
  • Establishment of both freestanding and provider-based ancillary services
