      Local counsel for a healthcare client that was able to obtain a judgment in its favor against its former founder and chief executive officer for her breach of her covenants not to compete and not to solicit employees.

      Obtained a complete defense verdict after a week-long jury trial on behalf of school district relating to allegations of teacher misconduct.

    • Defended Fortune 100 technology company in a multibillion-dollar Section 2 Sherman Act case brought by a competitor regarding broad-ranging practices, resulting in a settlement of all claims.

      Co-lead counsel for Fortune 100 defense contractor bringing claims for breach of contract arising from a business acquisition, obtaining a favorable confidential settlement. 

      Obtained summary judgment in punitive class action for vicarious liability under TCPA.

      Represented multiple candidates and political parties in regard to constitutional and election challenges in state and federal courts.

    • Represented Fortune 100 energy company in global litigation, exposing fraud and racketeering by opposing counsel and his co-conspirators in obtaining an unenforceable $9 billion judgment arising from alleged environmental contamination in Ecuador.

      Defended Fortune 100 defense contractor in a toxic tort lawsuit that involved more than 700 claimants who claimed personal injuries from alleged exposure to contaminated groundwater.

      Obtained take-nothing verdict after an eight-week jury trial for a client in a nuisance action involving approximately 400 claimants.

    • Lead counsel for movie producer in dispute against SAG-AFTRA union, resulting in a nuisance-value settlement in exchange for a full release of rights.

      Defended former Hollywood executive in a multimillion-dollar lawsuit arising from alleged threats against the plaintiff.

      Defended former technology executive in a $70 million suit brought by ex-girlfriend alleging that he breached promises to provide her with lifetime financial support, resulting in a nuisance-value confidential settlement after disqualifying opposing counsel and demurring complaint.

      Defended high-net-worth real estate developer in four-week long criminal trial against charges of bribery, conflict of interest, and improper influence, resulting in a full acquittal.

    • Co-lead defense counsel in a wrongful death and traumatic brain injury case in state court in Midland, Texas, resulting in confidential settlement days before trial.

      Lead defense counsel in wrongful death case in Denton County, Texas, obtaining a confidential settlement on the eve of trial.

      Lead defense counsel in wrongful death burn case in Bexar County, Texas, resulting in confidential settlement. 

      Obtained dismissal of all claims against a pregnant woman who alleged significant personal injury and sought recovery of millions of dollars in damages.

      Defense counsel in wrongful death case in Titus County, Texas, in which the client was able to obtain a settlement before a record-setting trial verdict of $730 million.

      Defense counsel in a quadriplegic case in Upshir County, Texas, resulting in settlement.

      Represented a real estate investor in a suit his clients brought against their general contractor partners, resulting in a favorable settlement immediately after filing suit for fraud and breach of contract.
