Wendi Rogaliner represents hospitals, physicians and other healthcare providers, helping her clients successfully navigate the legal issues that impact their day-to-day operations and transactions. She has extensive experience in physician contracting, Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute compliance, corporate practice of medicine prohibitions, EMTALA compliance, HIPAA compliance, medical staff credentialing, disciplinary actions and fair hearings, compliance investigations, board/medical staff training and education, and issues related to patient care and consent.
Wendi has devoted her entire legal career to healthcare. She has a broad range of experience in the industry, including having served as in-house counsel to a large publicly held hospital system, where she was responsible for the day-to-day legal operations of 14 hospitals and all ambulatory surgery centers nationwide. For almost 20 years, she has focused her practice exclusively on transactional, regulatory and operational issues that affect hospitals and other healthcare providers, and has been a frequent speaker, writer and corporate trainer on healthcare operational issues.
Wendi is licensed in both Texas and Oklahoma, and holds a certification in healthcare compliance (CHC). She is an active member of the American Health Lawyers Association, and currently serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Health & Life Sciences Law.
