Nathan Hertzog is a partner in Bradley’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group and has significant experience advising financial sponsors and privately held companies on a broad range of transactional matters, particularly in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, fund formation, equity and debt financings, and restructuring transactions. Nathan routinely serves as outside general counsel to his clients, providing day-to-day legal and strategic advice from formation through exit. He has industry experience in healthcare (with an emphasis in physician practice management companies and behavioral healthcare providers), transportation and logistics, finance, software, hardware, business services, and hospitality. Nathan represents financial sponsors on their complete lifecycle, from formation and fundraising to investments, divestitures, and wind down. He also represents founders and emerging companies with early and growth-stage investments, liquidity transactions, talent management and incentives, and corporate governance.

Immediately prior to joining the firm, Nathan served for three years as the general counsel of a private equity sponsor and its portfolio companies where he advised on fund formation, fundraising, acquisitions, healthcare compliance, anti-competitive issues, litigation management, and corporate governance. He led the sponsor through federal registration as a registered investment adviser with the SEC and served as the adviser’s chief compliance officer. Previously, Nathan practiced for nine years with two mid-sized corporate law firms in the Southeastern U.S.
