Negotiated settlement on behalf contractor in a multi-project, multi-lawsuit breach of contract dispute with the owner-operator of national fast food chains that required full resolution of more than 50 subcontractor and supplier claims and associated lawsuits. Assisted the representation of a mechanical contractor in a lawsuit against the developer of a hotel for breach of contract violation of the Alabama Prompt Payment Act and other equitable claims. Represented municipality in termination of contractor in default and successfully asserted claims against contractor’s performance bond. Counseled client during informal dispute resolution with project owner related to differing site condition claim during horizontal directional drilling operations. Obtained settlement in favor of electrical contractor on contractor’s claims for damages resulting from owner delay, cost escalation, and additional work against owner-developer of residential condominium complex.
