Ben Williams is a corporate and transactional attorney in the firm’s Real Estate and Banking & Financial Services practice groups with more than 40 years of experience in complex corporate, commercial finance, and real estate transactions. Ben’s practice includes creating, negotiating and closing nuanced structures and innovative financing alternatives on behalf of lender and borrower clients alike, and assisting businesses on both sides of acquisitions and mergers. His work includes significant representation of lenders in a variety of types of commercial financings (including, e.g., corporate and industry, real estate, bonds, and interest rate swaps); parties in the development, construction, and operations of real estate projects (including, e.g., multifamily residential projects, manufacturing & distribution facilities, assisted living facilities, shopping centers); and corporations in acquisition of subsidiaries and properties. He also has served as outside general counsel for several corporations in various industries.

Ben is listed in Chambers USA and The Best Lawyers in America, where he has been named Jackson’s “Lawyer of the Year” in multiple areas, including Mergers & Acquisitions Law, Project Finance, Commercial Finance Law, and Corporate Compliance Law, and Corporate Compliance Law.

Prior to joining Bradley, Ben served as the co-practice leader of his former firm’s commercial lending and finance team. He is co-author of Commercial Finance 701, a series on commercial loans written exclusively for the Mississippi Business Journal, which is geared to lenders, developers, investors, and transactional attorneys. In addition to columns on commercial law, Ben has published articles on travel, religion, politics, and the U.S. Constitution.
