Ashley M. Robinson

Associate

Ashley Robinson is an associate in Bradley’s Intellectual Property Practice Group whose practice is centered on trademark prosecution and brand protection for companies of all sizes. She advises clients on developing and implementing comprehensive trademark strategies, including conducting clearance analyses, securing and maintaining U.S. and international trademark registrations, and managing domestic and international trademark portfolios. Ashley works closely with clients to ensure their marks are protected throughout their lifecycle and aligned with broader business objectives.

A significant component of Ashley’s practice involves trademark enforcement. She regularly assists clients with trademark monitoring and policing efforts, prepares and responds to cease-and-desist correspondence, and represents trademark owners in opposition and other administrative proceedings. Her enforcement work is informed by a practical understanding of brand risk and the need for efficient, business-focused solutions.

Beyond trademark prosecution and enforcement, Ashley maintains a broad intellectual property litigation practice. She has experience representing clients in disputes involving trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, and patents, and routinely supports litigation teams handling complex IP matters in federal court. Her litigation experience includes both enforcing intellectual property rights and defending against infringement and related claims.

Ashley also advises clients on intellectual property issues arising in corporate and commercial contexts. She assists with IP due diligence in mergers, acquisitions, and other transactions, helping identify, assess, and mitigate IP-related risks. Her practice further includes counseling on copyright and trade secret matters, as well as reviewing, drafting, and negotiating intellectual property licenses and other agreements that impact the ownership, use, and transfer of IP assets.

Ashley also uses her unique IP and litigation experience to maintain an active pro bono practice. She is involved in Bradley’s Black-Owned Small Business and Nonprofit Clinic, through which she provides business-oriented legal services to local minority-owned small businesses. She also has assisted a multitude of clients through Volunteer Lawyers of Birmingham with various civil issues.
