Mike Denniston has an active practice assisting the firm’s healthcare clients with their antitrust and competition issues. His practice encompasses not only litigation and advising work, but also working with the Healthcare and Corporate Practice Groups on mergers. He also advises clients on the antitrust issues associated with joint ventures and other collaborations between competitors, and on compliance with the Non-Profit Institutions provision of the Robinson-Patman Act. He also handles the trademark needs of a number of hospitals and other healthcare providers.

Mike regularly works on premerger advising and notification for healthcare clients pursuant to the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act. Transactions on which he has provided advice and counsel range from transactions that are not likely to be challenged and in which the agency grants Early Termination to transactions with potential antitrust risk which require detailed engagement of and negotiations with the FTC and Department of Justice.
